About the room

Walter Conference Center (Room 101) is a spacious, and versatile room available to all University units. Located on the east side of Walter Library, the conference room offers a handsome view of tree-lined Northrop Mall, an attractive and comfortable environment, and an array of contemporary audio-visual/digital equipment to help make your event a success.

Standard audio/visual equipment

The room is equipped with a DVD/VCR/CD player and a cassette player connected to a ceiling-mounted LCD video projector and speakers. The room also features a DHCP ethernet connection, audio-video inputs allowing laptops and other devices to be connected to the projector and speakers, and a video camera for recording presentations. The room has three ceiling-mounted screens (two along the north wall and one along the west wall).

  • ELMO visual presenter (overhead camera)
  • audio/visual cables for connecting laptops and other external devices (S-video, VGA, mini-plug to RCA audio)
